Greetings, Brothers and Singers, we look forward to welcoming you in the Morris churches in less than 6 weeks, Lord willing! Please read on for several important updates:
Bus
There is a bus scheduled that will leave from Rensselaer, IN, and make stops in Valparaiso, Belvidere, and Minneapolis on the way to Morris. Go to https://www.accbustrips.org/future/august-2025/morris-mn for details and to register or contact the organizers.
Friday PM supper
We are planning to host a supper at the Morris North church at 7 pm on Friday night, August 22, for all who are coming in Friday evening.
Only If you are not coming on the bus, please RSVP by text or email to me if you will join us for supper, even if you won’t get here until 7 or later.
Also, please plan to come to the Morris North church to meet your overnight hosts if you have not made other arrangements, even if you will not be coming for supper.
Practices
Brother Andy Sauder will coordinate two practices at the Morton Fellowship Hall. The first will be Saturday, August 9 from 6-8 pm, following the General Brotherhood Conference in Tremont. The second will be Thursday, August 14 from 7-9 pm.
Please text Andy at (309) 453-0320 if you plan to attend so he can prepare enough copies of the music and update you with any changes to the schedule.
Brother Fred Manz plans to coordinate a practice in the Junction / Latti area. Please text him at (419) 769-0380 if you are interested in participating.
Music updates
We added new endings to The Fire Song and Christ Arose, and the website has been updated with those arrangements. Always refer to the website for the most current version of the music. The last revision date is noted below the download button for each piece.
Registration
We’re thrilled to share that 130 of you have visited the website in 2025 and 109 have indicated you plan to sing, which is fantastic, but there’s definitely still room for more! Please register or login and update your profile information to make sure it’s current.
If you have any trouble at all with registration, email or text me and we’ll collect your information manually.
